Slack Integration

Installation #

1. Firstly, you need to purchase the Everest Forms Pro plugin.
2. After the successful purchase, you will get the plugin zip file under your WPEverest account page.
3. Now, you can download the Everest Forms Pro from there.
4. Through your WordPress Dashboard, visit Plugins -> Add New -> Upload and then choose the downloaded zip file, and then install and activate it.
5. Now go to Everest Forms > Add-ons -> All Features.
6. Search Slack add-on and install it.

Setup and Configuration #

After enabling the Slack, you can directly integrate the the Everest Forms with the desired Slcak Channel by following steps:

• Go to Everest Forms > All Forms.
• Edit a form. Or, create a new form from scratch.
• Go to Form Settings > Slack

Here, you can provide the Slack Message Title, Slack Incoming Webhook and Slack Message. To generate the Slack Incoming Webhook, refer to this doc: https://api.slack.com/messaging/webhooks#create_a_webhook

On the Slack Message, you can put the content of the message as per your need. Use the smart tags to map form field values. Click on the <> button and use the available form fields as smart tags.
