Connect your Everest Forms data to your Trello accounts. Use Trello API to link Everest Forms with Trello, syncing your website’s form submissions with Trello tasks.
Installation #
- Firstly, you need to purchase the Everest Forms Pro plugin.
- After the successful purchase, you will get the plugin zip file under your WPEverest account page.
- Now, you can download the Everest Forms Pro from there.
- Through your WordPress Dashboard, visit Plugins -> Add New -> Upload and then choose the downloaded zip file and then install and activate it.
- Now go to Everest Forms > Add-ons > All Features.
- Search Trello add-on and install it.
Setup and Configuration #
Once you have activated the iContact integration, go to Everest Forms > Settings > Integration > Trello and click on the settings button. This will take you to the configuration screen for the Trello integration.
You will get to the following screen.
Getting the Trello API Key #
- Either login to your Trello account or create a new account.
- Once you’re logged in, you can visit your Power-Up Admin Portal. From there, click “Create”.
- Click on Create Workspace and create a Workspace as per you requirements.
If you already have a Workspace, you can skip above steps and follow from the next.
- Go to your Power-Up Admin Portal. From there, click “New”.
- Enter the details as asked and click on Create.
- You will then be asked to Generate a New API key.
- Click on the Generate a new API key button to get your keys.
Copy this key to your clipboard and enter it on the Everest Forms > Settings > Integration > Trello. Then, click on Get Access Token.
You will then get an access token. Use this token to connect to the Everest Forms.
It will then be connected to the Everest Forms. If you want to disconnect this app, you can click on the Disconnect button on the far right.
Similarly, you can add multiple connections.
Connect Trello to your contact forms #
Once you have connected the Trello to the Everest Forms settings, you need to create a form to connect it to the Trello. You can connect your existing forms as well. For this, go to the following location.
All Forms > Choose a Form > Integration > Trello
- Click on Add New Connection.
- Provide a nickname for the connection.
- Now, you have to choose the account, Trello configuration, Board List, Board Label, Board Member, and map the form fields as required.
- Click on Save.
How to use conditional logic for Trello connections? #
To use conditional logic, enable the option by ticking the ‘Use Conditional Logic’ option at the bottom of every connection you make.
In the above example, the form sends data to the Trello account only if the First Name is ‘Everest’.
